Shipping & Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return the items must meet the following criteria:
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Your item must be in the original packaging.
- Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase. Mail your returned item to:

Please include in your package a letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
All items that do not meet the above criteria are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
If your item is in new condition, you may exchange it for something different. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.
All orders are typically shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. "Drop Shipped" products from manufacturers may be subject to delays beyond our control. We will make every effort to expedite all orders.
*Canadian customers please note* - We are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may be incurred when importing items into your country.
*PLEASE NOTE* - We do not allow pick-up at the shipping terminal or for any rerouting of the shipment.
We highly recommend that you inspect your purchase thoroughly before signing for and accepting the shipment due to hidden and or concealed damage. If the shipment is accepted without noting any damage or loss, the freight company will assume the shipment was delivered in good condition. Once you sign and received the item Harris Welding supplies is no longer responsible. If you have any problems with your order you can call us at 1-800-783-8833.
We ship all orders over $99 to the Lower 48 States for free. This will be shipped via the most economical method for us. You are able to pick a definitive service at checkout. Keep in mind that you will be responsible for shipping charges if you choose one of these methods. Free Shipping does not apply to HI, AK, PR and international orders.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
Some items that are drop shipped or shipped via freight may be shipped by different carriers. This is at the discretion of the manufacturer.
All equipment shipped by Common Carrier (TRUCK) must be unloaded by the receiver. Truck drivers will only move equipment to the tail of the truck.
If your delivery is to a residential address, make certain you have the ability to unload the equipment. If not, please make arrangements wtih the delivery company to bring your order on a lift gate truck.
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using First Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock if you have paid for shipping. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment. If you chose Free Shipping and there is a backordered item, we will hold your order and ship it complete.
